Automorphisms of Models of True Arithmetic: Recognizing Some Basic Open Subgroups.Henryk Kotlarski & Richard Kaye - 1994 - Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic 35 (1):1-14.
Let M be a countable recursively saturated model of Th(), and let GAut(M), considered as a topological group. We examine connections between initial segments of M and subgroups of G. In particular, for each of the following classes of subgroups HG, we give characterizations of the class of terms of the topological group structure of H as a subgroup of G. This volume contains C. D. Broad's Cambridge lectures on Ethics. Broad gave a course of lectures on the subject, intended primarily for Part I of the Moral Sciences Tripos, every academic year from 1933 - 34 up to and in cluding 1952 - 53 (except that he did not lecture on Ethics in 1935 - 36). The course however was frequently revised, and the present version is es sentially that which he gave in 1952 - 53. Broad always wrote out (...)

    Retour, repentir et constitution de soi.C. Aslanoff, P. Aubin, V. Bibikhine, H. Blumenthal, D. Bourel & J. Carlier - 1998 - Librairie Philosophique J Vrin.
Festugiere (...)

    The ethical approach to AIDS: a bibliographical review.C. Manuel, P. Enel, J. Charrel, D. Reviron, M. P. Larher, X. Thirion & J. L. Sanmarco - 1990 - Journal of Medical Ethics 16 (1):14-27.
This bibliographical study involved first the exploitation of four data-banks: Medline, CNRS, Bioethics and AIDS, with the following key words (in conjunction with AIDS): ethics, human rights, confidentiality, legislation, jurisprudence. A total of 412 references were listed between 1983 and the end of 1987. Examination of the quantitative increase of articles over these years shows that, while references to AIDS and/or HIV infection--referred to as 'AIDS' for brevity--increased by about one third per year, the number of papers treating ethical problems (...)

Two rotational bands have been identified and characterized in the proton-magic N = Z + 1 nucleus Ni-57. These bands complete the systematics of well-and superdeformed rotational bands in the light nickel isotopes starting from doubly magic Ni-56 to Ni-60. High-spin states in Ni-57 have been produced in the fusion-evaporation reaction Si-28(S-32, 2p1n)Ni-57 and studied with the gamma-ray detection array GAMMASPHERE operated in conjunction with detectors for evaporated light charged particles and neutrons. The features of the rotational bands in Ni-57 (...)
